Due Diligence Specialist - M&A Consulting
Our client is a leading global consulting firm in the fields of Advisory, Audit and Transaction Services. The Zurich office is currently expanding rapidly in the field of M&A due to strong market buoyancy and increased internal buy-in from the business. The first half of 2018 saw 168 M&A deals with Swiss involvement, worth a total of $78 billion and this level of market buoyancy is expected to continue.
To capitalise on this, our client is actively looking to further grow their team to deliver transaction support services including due diligence and valuation. We are seeking a strong Assistant Manager / Manager to look after the Due Diligence function with a view to grow rapidly within the team.
What differentiates this role from the rest?
This is a career development opportunity where we are looking to identify a future Director for the business. This trajectory will be supported fully by the current Partner of the Transaction Services department and you will be given exposure to all aspects of the M&A deal lifecycle.

Conducting M&A due diligence in today’s global marketplace is a demanding, high-pressure undertaking that requires considerable skill and expertise. As a result, a strong attention to detail and highly-honed reporting skills are necessary to be successful.
The role itself is client-focused and will revolve heavily around the Due Diligence process for both buy and sell-side engagements. These activities include strong and robust report writing, vendor, financial, legal etc. due diligences and overall delivery of the DD function.
We are looking for someone coming from either a big4 auditing route, with a CPA (WP, ACA, ACCA, CIMA), who is looking to branch out into wider consulting services around transactions and M&A or coming from industry with strong financial advisory skills.
• External consulting experience (Big4 or other)
• Motivated self-starter with ability to grow and develop a business unit
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
